I made this for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I am very late for it >.< So she's getting it today. My own mom isn't getting hers until next week, cause I haven't found anything good enough to make her yet.

Painted on 140 lb cold press Strathmore paper, with water colors and Sakura Micron Pen for the outlines. It is about post card size. Also finished in about 20 minutes o.O

Please give me your critique!!

Perfection is UNACHIEVEABLE!!
I love the colors. Just splendid, darling.
That is absolutely lovely! :) One of your best paintings, methinks.

Mongo is an orphan who walks 5 miles every day to fetch clean water. With your donation of just £2 a month we can buy a whip to make the lazy bugger run.
I love watching you improve and improve.

It's exciting.
I like the movement in your strokes. In creating the fur, you've added some life and feeling to the little animal. Nicely dont!!!

Is the pen expensive? Does it flow nicely and have different tips?

I like the attitude.

I think the pen was only $3, but it's waterproof and light fast. It doesn't work too well sometimes on the water color paper, since it catches on the ridges, you can kind of see that on the right side, but I tried to use it to my advantage. If you press a bit harder it becomes darker.

I'm glad you like it ^.^
